A graduate of the Design program at the University of San Francisco, her work is informed by lived experience and grounded in intentional, strategic thinking. She creates work that communicates with clarity and resonates deeply with audiences.

She specializes in world-building across both physical and digital landscapes, blending cultural awareness with creative problem-solving. Jayla sees design as a powerful medium that reflects culture, conveys information clearly, and shapes how we perceive the world.

Mache Tét Anlé

Mache Tèt Anlè is a research-driven installation project exploring Haitian Vodou as a means of reconnecting with ancestry and affirming queerness through religion. The project includes an integrated editorial system designed across multiple print formats, including a hardcover reference book, an altar catalog, and informational pamphlets.
